Hi Boyan, great post. I was curious if you had to query for all groups. Could you instead query for the user and then do a single query for the single group where the class was group and the group id matched? This might be more efficient and perform better, but I'm not sure if this is possible.

I am not sure if you are a salesman for that product but your comment is not exactly related. You can use that product but my example was how to do it while having to control permissions in your web application.

There is an easier way. Have you heard about enterprise security reporter ? It can do the same things without any coding. You will be able to get reports about group membership for selected groups, domains or accounts.
